Ronaldo goals 2023: Cristiano Ronaldo has begun the season on a rather underwhelming note for Manchester United after a chaos filled summer.

After United’s poor performance last season where they finished 6th in the league, reports emerged of the Portuguese wanting out from the club.

However, no clubs were willing to bid for Ronaldo and he remained for another season with the Red Devils and looks set to complete his 2-year deal.

Cristiano is yet to score a single EPL goal this season after making 6 appearances; majority of which has been from the bench.

He scored his first goal of the season in United’s 2-0 away win over Sheriff Tiraspol in the UEL in mid-week.

Despite him starting off the bench prior to the first international break; football fans believe it’s only about time before CR7 begins to deliver.

United has won 4 EPL clashes in succession with Ronaldo starting in none of them. But Manchester United haven’t flown out of the blocks and know the importance of the Portuguese.

Rashford is the top scorer for the Red Devils currently with 3 goals in the EPL but an early injury could keep him out for a while.

This is where Ronaldo can emerge to be United’s top scorer once again, as we have seen throughout his career.

Cristiano’s desire and dedication helped United last season as well when he struck 18 times in the league.

A positive international break gives Ronaldo the added initiative to get the goals firing on all cylinders.

CR7 has seen plenty of detractors throughout his career and emerged victorious in giving it back. Despite no goals this season, Ronaldo’s presence in the squad is motivation and confidence enough.
