Most wins in 2023: The 2022/23 season has seen its fair share of ups and downs with many clubs reigning supreme across competitions.

It’s been a story of revival and fortune favoring the brave teams willing to take risks and provide a positive approach.

Across competitions, some of European teams have outperformed due to which they remain in the running for titles.

Without further ado, we look at the top 4 teams with most wins in 2023 season across competitions in Europe.

Napoli

Napoli have registered 25 wins across competitions so far this season. 20 of these have come in the Serie A as they hold the top spot with an 18-point lead.

The other 5 came in the Champions League as they topped their group to qualify for the Round of 16.

Napoli hold a 2-0 lead in the Round of 16 vs Frankfurt and look to maintain the same momentum.

Such has been the exploits with the combination of defence and attack working in cohesion.

Next in line is Xavi’s Barcelona with 26 wins across competitions. The season has gone with immense progress and positive spirits in the domestic league with Barcelona topping the table with 19 wins.

A below-par season in Europe saw him bow out of the UEFA Champions League finishing 3rd in their group with 2 wins.

Barcelona won the Spanish Super Cup with 2 wins including a final win over long standings rivals, Real Madrid.

The Catalan side have registered 3 wins in the Copa del Rey as well to seal a place in the semi-finals.

With such consistency and progress, the club’s decision to appoint Xavi has proved fruitful. But the club has major European tests coming up alongside the La Liga. They still have plenty to prove but remain a tough proposition.

Real Madrid continues firing on all cylinders picking up 27 wins this season. Things haven’t gone to plan in the La Liga as they are 2nd in the table with 16 wins.

Ancelotti’s men topped the group with 4 wins and added another to the tally with the 5-2 thumping over Liverpool in the RO16.

The men in White already pocketed the FIFA Club World Cup earlier this season having won 2 knockout matches.

The English team has recorded a total of 27 wins so far in the footballing season across competitions.

To start the tally, United have won 15 of the 24 EPL matches so far.

In addition to that is the 5 wins in the UEFA Europa League group stage, which saw them qualify to next round.

Manchester United sealed a place in the EFL Cup final to be played vs Newcastle later this month. The journey included 5 wins.

Wins over Charlton and Reading the FA Cup Round 3 and 4 complete the set to make it a total of 27 wins.

United did not start the season in the best of ways but have turned it around in a massive way with due to credit to the team and in particular, Erik Ten Hag’s performance.

The Netherlands-born manager made some harsh decisions which have proved fruitful in the long-term running.

This has seen United improve leaps and bounds as they continue to make baby steps towards the upper echelons of English football.
