WWE SmackDown Recap: WWE Friday Night Smackdown taught us a lot of things that could take place at Wrestlemania 37th this April. Friday Night Smackdown started with Daniel Bryan addressing the WWE and the fans demanding a rematch for the WWE Universal Championship against Roman Reigns.
Another unexpected event was Cesaro returning to the ring after the match of Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura to take his revenge from Rollins.
Here are 5 things that we learnt from Friday Night Smackdown:
Daniel Bryan gets his spot at Wrestlemania in a Triple Threat Match:
Daniel Bryan got a spot at the Wrestlemania 37th in a Triple Threat Match between him, Reigns and Edge for the WWE Universal Championship. After his demand for the spot, there was constant heat between Edge and Reigns regarding Bryan stealing their thunder at the Wrestlemania to which Edge and Reigns confronted Adam Pierce. At the end of the night, all the 3 superstars appeared in the ring where Adam Pierce announced that Bryan would be the part of the Universal Championship match at the Wrestlemania after which the 3 superstars had a big brawl which ended up with Edge beating both the superstars with steel chair once again.
Cesaro’s return:
Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura had a one on one match at Friday Night Smackdown. Seth managed to win the match even after being dominated by Nakamura’s constant kicks and knees but only to be interrupted by Cesaro’s uppercut. Cesaro returned to the ring and started landing his punches on Rollins aggressively after which he hit him with an uppercut. Cesaro also tried to swing Rollins when Rollins managed to escape but fall prey to the swing backstage. Cesaro’s aggression suggested a more vicious match between the two at the Wrestlemania 37th.

Sami Zayn V/S Kevin Owens:
Sami Zayn who’s about to bring Youtube Influencer Logan Paul next Friday Night Smackdown was a guest at the Kevin Owens Show last night where Sami Zayn maniacally expressed his sorrow over him beating Kevin Owens last week. Kevin Owens described his attitude over Sami Zayn’s apology and challenged him for a one on one fight at Wrestlemania 37th to which Sami accepted after which Kevin Owens started hitting Zayn and ended up landing a Stunner on Sami Zayn.
Apollo Crews V/S Big E:
Last night Apollo Crews along with Otis and Chad Gable faced Big E and The Street Profits in a 6-man Tag Team Match. Big E and the Street Profits were in lead throughout the match but in the end, Apollo Crews managed to land the big fish, Big E and won via pinfall fair and square and expressed his aggression over Big E which suggested the brutality of their upcoming match for the Intercontinental match at the Wrestlemania 37th.
The Possibility of the Mysterios facing Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode:
This Friday Night Smackdown, Rey Mysterio faced Dolph Ziggler in a one on one match which ended up with Rey’s win via pinfall after he landed his famous manoeuvre 619. Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode, the Current Smackdown Tag Team Champions were rumoured to face any one team amongst the Mysterios, The Street Profits or Chad Gable & Otis at the Wrestlemania. The match between Rey and Ziggler suggested rather a prolonged rivalry which could further be continued on Wrestlemania 37th.
