WWE WRESTLEMANIA 37: The countdown to the Wrestlemania 37th edition has begun as the matchcard is almost ready with few unexpected last minute changes to possibly happen like at every Wrestlemania edition. With fans ready to see their favourite superstars facing each other in the ring, we are here with 5 superstars who would not be participating in this year’s Wrestlemania event:
Keith Lee:
We haven’t seen Keith Lee for almost a month now. The last match he was supposed to be in was against Matt Riddle and Bobby Lashley for the United States Championship title. Keith Lee is not present at the WWE since the past month due to health reasons and would most likely not be a part of this year’s Wrestlemania event. One can only hope that this huge guy recovers and returns back at the WWE with his rage back on.
Aleister Black:
Aleister Black has the same reason for not being involved at this Wrestlemania 37th which is a minor injury from which he hasn’t still recovered. It was mentioned by Journalist Dave Meltzer that it was unclear on the part of WWE that Aleister, who was last seen in October 2020 was injured after he was transferred to Smackdown. The journalist also mentioned that the superstar was to receive a push from Paul Heyman, who was then the Executive Director of RAW.
Charlotte Flair:
Charlotte Flair was reportedly Covid-19 positive as seen from the last updates about her. The Superstar was all set to face Asuka for the RAW Women’s Championship at Wrestlemania 37th but her spot was offered to Rhea Ripley who just made her debut at Monday Night RAW and challenged Asuka for the Women’s Title. Ric Flair, Charlotte’s dad and WWE Hall of Famer wrote on Twitter, “Wrestlemania will not be the same without The Queen.”
Becky Lynch:
Becky Lynch took some time off from WWE to have a baby with the WWE star Seth Rollins will soon return to the WWE but won’t be seen at this Wrestlemania most probably. Seth and Becky had their baby on 7th Dec 2020 and since then Becky has been home with her child while Seth Rollins returned to the WWE. Lynch also experienced the loss of her father which might lead to the further postponement of her return at the WWE. The scenario for the women’s section for this Wrestlemania 37th looks gloomy as great superstars like Becky and Charlotte won’t be seen this year.
Kevin Owens:
Kevin Owens didn’t had a match at Fastlane 2021 and he then wanted to appear directly at the Wrestlemania 37th but still hasn’t gotten fixed up with a match. Kevin Owens on WWE’s The Bump mentioned that the same thing happened with him at the Wrestlemania 35th where he was available and still didn’t got a match which made him feel bad. Currently Owens is just hoping to be a part of this year’s Wrestlemania.
