Paris St-Germain have been dealt with a huge blow as Neymar has been ruled out for 4 weeks due to an adductor muscle injury and will miss the 1st leg of their round of 16 match against Barcelona.
He sustained the injury during PSG´s 1-0 victory against Caen on Wednesday in the French Cup and test results showed the extent of damage. He limped off and was replaced by Kylian Mbappe for the rest of the game.
A crucial loss at such a juncture is what PSG did not want as he is a very important player in their setup. They resume their Ligue 1 duties by playing at home against Nice on Saturday before heading to the Camp Nou for the 1st leg of their UEFA Champions League encounter.
He will also miss games against Monaco, Dijon and Bordeaux.
PSG will hope to have Neymar back for the return leg at Parc des Princes on 10th March, 2021.
