ENG tour of PAK Cancelled: After New Zealand now England also cancelled their tour to Pakistan following security concerns

Eng tour of Pak Cancelled: The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced the cancellation of the men’s and women’s team’s tour of Pakistan to be held in October.

The ECB has taken this decision citing security reasons. The board confirmed this by issuing a press release on Monday (September 20) late evening.

The England men’s team was to play two T20 Internationals against Pakistan on 13 and 14 October.

At the same time, the women’s team also had to play a series of two T20 and three ODI matches. All the matches were to be held in Rawalpindi.

However, earlier New Zealand also canceled its tour of Pakistan due to security reasons.

New Zealand was to play a series of three ODIs and five T20 matches, but the tour was canceled just before the first ODI.

The cancellation of this tour means that now Pakistan will not be able to play any international match before the T20 World Cup.
