This was the ultimate of all Premier League final days as it saw a range of emotions.  City and United had picked up 86 points ahead of the final day but with the latter having a better goal difference; they were ahead.

United needed City to slip up against QPR in this one and almost had their wish fulfilled.

City trailed QPR 2-0 before they made it 2-2 by the start of extra time. The title looked like it was headed towards the Red Half of Manchester, until the 93rd minute when AGUEROOOOOOOOOOO happened.

It was Manchester City’s first ever Premier League title and what a way it was to do so.

As per well renowned commentator Peter Drury; ‘Staggering just Staggering he’s won the league with 90 seconds of stoppage time to play’.

We hope to see this season’s title race go right down to the wire but it will be a difficult pill to swallow for either side if they can’t reach the summit.
