EPL Results: Lemina goal rise on occasion as Fulham beat Liverpool 1-0

Liverpool suffered yet another setback as they lost at home to Fulham 0-1 courtesy Mario Lemina’s 45^th minute strike.

The Reds have now lost their last six matches at home and this is their fourth loss in five premier league matches as pressure mounts on Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Liverpool did not create any sort of tempo or momentum in the first half to get things started whereas Fulham played with grit and desire and they were rewarded in the 45^th minute, when the ball was nicked off Salah by Lemina on the edge of the box, before he picked out the far bottom corner to open the scoring.

In the second half, Liverpool came out much brighter and with intent with Jota forcing a great save from Areola before Mane hit the crossbar with his header.

Neco Williams also fired over as Fulham held on to claim a massive three points in their race for survival in the Premier league.

Fulham with this win stay 18^th in the table with 26 points while Liverpool stay 7^th with 43 points.

Liverpool is in serious jeopardy if they cannot avoid this slump.  They now turn their attention to Europe where they would like to end this horror run against RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Fulham will play Manchester City next Sunday in a bid to avoid the drop.

Scott Parker would like to see performances similar to today if Fulham are to stay in the league.
