After leaving the Chinese Super League club Dalian Professional, Rafael Benitez could be re-appointed the manager of Newcastle United. He was the manager of the Magpies from 2016-2019 having 146 appearances; winning 62, drawing 30 and losing 54 of them.
Newcastle United is currently standing in 17th position with 25 points across 24 games in the Premier League and with a tough fixture against Manchester United on Sunday, another loss could see Steve Bruce face the sack.
The Magpies are desperate to stay in the League and although at a crucial time in the season, it could be just the right call by Mike Ashley to get in Benitez to save them this season.
