Julius Deion Randle was born on November 29, 1994 in Dallas, Texas. He is an American professional basketball player, who is currently playing for New York Knicks of the National Basketball Association.

Julius’s height is 6ft 8 inch. In high school, Randle was considered as one of the top players in the country and was highly recruited. Randle then elected to attend Kentucky. After just one season in Kentucky, he entered the 2014 NBA Draft.

College career

Randle executed to Kentucky over Texas, Florida and Kansas. During his undergrad season, he led Kentucky to the National Championship Game (lost to University of Connecticut.) and won the semifinalist for the Naismith College Player of the Year. He finished the season with 24 doubles, second-most in school history. He managed to average 15 points, 10.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.

With just 14 minutes into his NBA debut Randle broke his right Tibia and left out of the season. Soon after his return he played 3 more seasons with the lakers and had his career best with 36 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists in a 127–113 win against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Randle appear in all 82 games for the Lakers but by the end of the season he became a restricted free agent.
In 2018, Randle then signed a two-year, $18 million contract with the New Orleans Pelicans.

In his debut, he had 25 points off the bench in a 131–112 win over the Houston Rockets. Although he declined his second-year player option on June 16, 2019, and became a free agent.

In July 2019, Randle signed a three-year, $63 million contract with the New York Knicks. On February 23 2021, he was named as a reserve for the 2021 NBA All – Star Game. In April 2021, Randle tied his season high 44 points, while recording 10 rebounds and 7 assists.
