Man City EPL winners: Manchester City made it back-to-back league titles after a 3-2 comeback win over Villa to win their 8^th league title.

It was their 6^th in the Premier League era and 8^th in totality as Pep Guardiola’s men continued their brilliance and domination at the top.

The Etihad was sent into a tizzy in the 81^st minute as Gundogan turned home from De Bruyne’s ball across goal as City completed the comeback.

Manchester City with the win last night not only won their 8^th English league title but  also entered the history books. City have officially entered the top 5 teams list with most English League titles (8) surpassing Aston Villa’s seven trophies.

Pep Guardiola has now won four Premier League title as City boss, which takes him one clear of both Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger (3 titles each).

The Spaniard also helped the Blue Half of Manchester secure their sixth Premier League title; taking them above Chelsea (5).

Only Sir Alex Ferguson has won more Premier League titles (13) than Guardiola.

This was also Pep’s 32^nd title won as a manager which includes 14 with Barcelona, 7 with Bayern Munich and 11 with Manchester City.

Since 2008-09 (Guardiola’s managerial debut) no other manager has won more trophies in his career (32). The next best being Mourinho with 13 titles.

City 4^th League title in 5 years

From the 2017-18 season till present, City have won 4 Premier League titles in 5 years with only Liverpool winning one (2019-20).
