Messi vs Ronaldo: Lionel Messi could reignite his rivalry with Cristiano Ronaldo once again but in a new location as per media reports.

Recent reports have suggested the Argentine might join Saudi club, Al Hilal following the culmination of the 2022-23 season with PSG.

Messi’s contract future is up in the air and his ex-club, Barcelona has been knocking on the doors to try and see him return to the Catalan club.

However, Messi move to the Middle East could see that dream remain a dream for the La Liga giants.

Ronaldo joined Al Nassr following his exit from Man United prior to the World Cup.

Cristiano got back to his best in the Roshn Saudi League scoring 12 goals and 2 assists in 12 matches for his new side.

Despite this, Nassr are 2nd in the table with 56 points and closing in on Al Ittihad in a nervy title challenge.

A move for Messi to the Middle East could see a final flourish to the rivalry between these two giants of the game.

However, we need to wait till the end of the season to see whether this could happen or not?

Messi’s Suspension by PSG

Messi was suspended by the French club recently for 2 weeks following a visit to Saudi Arabia without permission.

The Argentine has apologised to the club and could still see some his game time before the end of the season.

PSG is on the cusp of retaining the Ligue 1 as they hold a 6-point advantage with 4 matches left.
