Most Football Wins 2022: Dominance in a football league is created through victories and some teams have shown their trait in abundance this season.

The Football Leagues across Europe have come to an end bringing the curtains down on yet another intense and fascinating season of the beautiful game.

Winning the crucial moments forms a large part of clubs gaining an upper hand on their opponents. Hence, victories make one’s team more confidence as the season wears on.

Without further ado, we look at the top 5 teams with most Football wins this season across competitions.

Ajax

ImageUnder the tutelage of Erik ten Hag, Ajax finished the 2021-22 football season with 36 wins across all competitions.

They won the Eredivisie title, finished runners-up in the KNVB Cup and Johann Cruyff Shield.

In the UEFA Champions League, Ajax secured a Round of 16 finish as well.

Apart from the 36 wins, Ajax finished with 6 draws and 6 losses as well having scored 141 and conceded 33 across competitions.

Erik ten Hag was announced as the new Manchester United manager towards the end of the season.

Hence, it was a celebratory time for Ajax fans as he departed them on a winning note.

Real Madrid

Real Madrid completed an almost picture-perfect season in 2021-22; picking up 39 wins from 56 matches across all competitions.

This included the La Liga, Spanish Super Cup and UEFA Champions League titles. They secured a Q/F place in the Copa del Rey competition as well.

Los Blancos scored 119 goals and conceded 50 in the season with a 69.64 winning %.

They suffered 8 draws and 9 defeats as well but, on the whole; Carlo Ancelotti got them back to the top through his immaculate management.

Chelsea

The English club secured 38 wins from 63 matches across competitions this season including 2 titles.

Chelsea secured the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup before finishing 3rd in the Premier League.

The Blues faced heart-breaking losses in the Finals of the EFL and FA Cup on penalties; both to Liverpool.

A Quarter-final stage exit against Real Madrid was also overseen by Thomas Tuchel as he completed a first full season with Chelsea.

Apart from 38 wins, Chelsea drew 17 and lost 8 of their remaining matches scoring 122 and conceding 51 goals in the process.

Manchester City

Manchester City make up 2nd place in this list, having won 41 of their 58 matches played across competitions this season.

Their season did not have the best of starts as they lost to Leicester City in the FA Community Shield final.

The Blue Half of Manchester retained their Premier League in dramatic fashion on the final day to win their 4th one in 5 seasons.

However, this was their only piece of silverware with semi-final finishes in the FA Cup and UEFA Champions League.

City were the reigning champions in the EFL Cup but got knocked out in the 4th round to West Ham United.

Pep’s men drew 9 and lost 8 matches as well to finish with a winning % of 70.69 and a goal difference of 100.

Without a number 9, Guardiola managed to get the best out of his team scoring 150 and conceding 50 goals this season.

Liverpool

The Reds seal top spot in this list having won 46 of their 63 matches across competitions.

Liverpool was so dominant this season that at one stage, they were vying for the Quadruple.

However, they secured EFL and FA Cup successes beating Liverpool to the title in both finals.

But finished runners-up in the EPL and UEFA Champions League to end their season a rather sour note.

Losses to Man City and Real Madrid dashed their dreams of a perfect season; but on a whole Liverpool had one of their great seasons.

Apart from the 46 wins; Liverpool drew 13 and lost 4 matches finding the net 147 times and shipping 48 goals.

Jurgen Klopp’s men ended their campaign with a 73.02 winning %.
