Nakamura digs at Brock Lesnar, says ‘He wants to Face The Beast’ Check out.

WWE News: Shinsuke Nakamura has built a name and a career in Japan’s leading federation, the NJPW.  It is there that he established himself as the King of Strong Style and it is there that he became one of the best wrestlers in the world by winning various titles.

In 2016 the leap to the United States, with the arrival at NXT. During his NJPW years, Nakamura was able to step into the ring against Brock Lesnar; it was 2006 and Lesnar was the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion.

“A new match against Lesnar? I’m ready”

As mentioned, in the now distant 2006, Shinsuke Nakamura faced the then NJPW World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar in a match for the title and “The Beast” won the match.

Moreover, the Japanese does not seem to keep a good memory of that match. In fact, recently speaking to the microphones of Renee Paquette’s podcast “Oral Sessions”, Nakamura said that according to him that match was unprofessional: “We were both young. I don’t know it was an unprofessional match “

In any case, he said he was ready and willing to face Brock Lesnar again: “If there was a chance, I would certainly face Brock Lesnar again”.

The King of Strong Style then highlighted how American wrestling still represents a challenge for him today: “Coming to the United States and WWE was a challenge for me and continues to be. I have come to test myself; that’s why I’m here. I’m always waiting for the right moment ”.

 On the main roster Nakamura has not yet reached the milestones that, instead, he has achieved in Japan and NXT. We will see if the definitive consecration also arrives for him in the main roster of Stamford.
