Rishabh Pant Dugout No Ball: The IPL 2022 match between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals saw high voltage drama on the ground. Rishabh Pant, unhappy with the umpire’s decision, asked the batsmen to leave the match midway and come back.

During the match played between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals in IPL 2022, there was a lot of drama on the field. Delhi Capitals needed 36 runs to win in the 20th over. Meaning Delhi Capitals needed 6 sixes in the last 6 balls.

Caribbean player Rovman Powell hit three sixes in the opening three balls of the 20th over being bowled by compatriot Obed McCoy. But, what happened on the third ball caught everyone’s attention on the field. There was a ruckus when Rovman Powell hit a six in the third ball of the over off Obed McCoy.

At first glance, it appeared that the ball was a no ball above the batsman’s waist. But, the onfield umpire did not give it a no ball. After which Pant, unhappy with the decision of the umpire, created a high voltage drama. Pant believed that there should have been no balls for height.

Pant was very unhappy after which in anger he asked both the Delhi Capitals batsmen to leave the match in the middle and come back. He also sent one of DC’s coaches Praveen Amre to the field.

This was the first controversial incident of IPL 2022. But, later after the intervention of other Delhi Capitals coaches, Pant decided to go ahead with the match despite no ball being given.

Rishabh Pant was very angry with the decision of the umpire and even after the match, he cursed the umpire fiercely and pointed fingers at his decision.

Delhi Capitals team lost this match by 15 runs. Earlier, on the basis of Jos Buttler’s brilliant century, Rajasthan Royals scored 222 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Jos Buttler scored 116 runs in 65 balls.
