AC Milan beats Verona: AC Milan managed to steal three points from Hellas Verona in the 26th giornata of the Italian League 2020-2021.

They got full points after a 2-0 win over the hosts at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium, Sunday (7/3/2021).

AC Milan’s two winning goals were scored by Rade Krunic (27 ‘) and Diogo Dalot (50’).

This victory made AC Milan cut the distance with Inter Milan at the top of the Italian League standings.

The Rossoneri are currently in the runner-up position with a collection of 56 points from 26 matches, three points adrift of Inter, who have only played 25 times.

Hellas Verona are in eighth place in the standings. They just packed 38 points.

The course of the match

AC Milan appeared without a number of its pillars in this match. They lost several players, such as Zatan Ibrahimovic, Hakan Calhanoglu, and Ante Rebic because of injuries.

A subscriber at the left-back post, Theo Hernandez, also missed this match due to fitness problems.

Appearing limping, AC Milan was more pressured by the hosts at the start of the first half. However, they actually threatened first.
