WWE SmackDown Full results and highlights: A review of what happened at Fastlane 2021 between Edge, Daniel Bran and the Universal champion, Roman Reigns, is broadcast.
Daniel Bryan makes his entrance to the ring with a chair. ” Did everyone see the truth? Did everyone see how I fulfilled what I said that no one had happened? Did everyone see how I made Roman Reigns surrender ,” Bryan declares. Bryan claims Roman never gave up before and had it not been for Edge, he would now be in the ring as Universal Champion and on his way to Wrestlemania. Bryan recalls that Edge stole the victory by hitting him with a chair. “I know everyone wanted to see a dream match between Edge and Roman Reigns,” Bryan blurts out as he furiously yells that he must be the Universal Champion and be on the road to Wrestlemania, so he wants a new Universal Championship match tonight. For this reason, Bryan says that he will not leave the ring until he gets what he wants, and he sits in the chair in the center of the ring.
After commercials, Daniel Bryan is still sitting in the chair in the center of the ring. Adam Pearce makes his entrance and says he can’t give him the Universal Championship rematch tonight . Bryan rebukes Pearce and tells him that a referee’s decision is final, therefore at Wrestlemania, Edge will face Roman Reigns. Bryan continues to propose options to have a title fight but Pearce denies it. Bryan tells Pearce that Wrestlemania will be in two nights, and he proposes that on the first night, Edge face Roman Reigns, and on the second night, the winner faces him, Daniel Bryan. Edge makes his way into the ring. Edge tells Bryan that for him every fight can be his last and he tells him that he knows what it’s like to come out of retirement. Edge says Bryan doesn’t deserve to be at Wrestlemania because he lost twice and instead won the Royal Rumble. Edge insults Bryan and he hits him but Edge applies the Spear. Edge takes the chair and punches Bryan as he retreats glaring at him.
They show a promo of Randy Orton’s rivalry against “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt ahead of their match at Wrestlemania 37.
We see the Universal champion, Roman Reigns in his dressing room with Paul Heyman and Jey Uso. Reigns tells Heyman to bring him Adam Pearce and he goes to look for him, while Reigns tells Jey to go do what he told him.
Seth Rollins vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
He begins the encounter with a hard struggle until Nakamura manages to take the initiative by kicking Seth. Nakamura’s knee in the corner and repeats the action from the apron. After commercials, Seth applies a Neckbreaker to Nakamura followed by the count remaining at 2. Seth repeatedly hits Nakamura who responds with a Dropkick. Nakamura’s punching combo throws Seth over the ropes to hit him with a knee and a Running Kick. It continues to dominate Nakamura until Seth reverses a knee from Nakamura to apply the Falcon Arrow followed by the count remaining at 2. Nakamura impresses Seth with a Death Valley Driver and searches for the Kinsasha but Seth reverses. Nakamura then looks for a padlock that Seth reverses and applies the Curb Stomp to win the fight.
Winner: Seth Rollins via pinfall.
After his victory, Seth prepares a new Curb Stom BUT CESARO APPEARS! Both hit with everything in the center of the ring and Cesaro applies a Chloteslina to Seth. Cesaro prepares the Cesaro Swing but Seth ends up escaping while Cesaro tells him to get back in the ring.
We go back to Roman Reigns’ dressing room and Adam Pearce introduces himself. Paul Heyman says that they thank him for not making a bad decision but Reigns confronts him and tells him that he does not deserve the grains, if not thank them. Reigns tells him that he has left him as a coward and he is nothing of the kind. Finally Pearce says that he is thinking about what to do and at the end of the show he will say what decision he is going to make in the face of Wrestlemania.
Seth Rollins is interviewed backstage and says that he is tired of Cesaro’s attitude and will not disrespect him or humiliate him like tonight. Seth says that he challenges Cesaro to a match at Wrestlemania to which Cesaro appears and attacks Seth to apply the Cesaro Swing in the hallways. Finally he tells her that he accepts the challenge. Seth Rollins will face Cesaro at Wrestlemania 37 .
It is announced that Big E will face Apollo in a match for the Universal Championship at Wrestlemania 37 , and we will see him on night 2.
The Street Profits and Big E vs. Chad Gable, Otis and Apollo
Otis and Ford begin the fight and Otis takes the initiative. Gable enters the fight and applies several blows to Ford’s knee. Gable’s German Suplex and the count is 2. Apollo enters and hits Ford with everything until he reverses a Suplex and gives the relief to Big E who enters at the same time as Gable. Big E applies a Suplex to Gable up to three times followed finally by a Splash. Apollo enters the ring and hits Big E but Dawkins throws him out of the ring. Otis punches Dawkins and Ford throws him out of the ring to do the same to Gable. Apollo impresses Big E with the Olumpic Slam to win the match.
Winners: Chad Gable, Otis and Apollo via pinfall.
Everything is ready for the Kevin Owens Show, with his guest Sami Zayn.
They announce that in the next episode of RAW, Asuka and Rhea Ripley will sign their contract for their match at Wrestlemania while WWE champion Bobby Lashley will look for a superstar who can beat Drew McIntyre to give him a shot at his title.
Adam Pearce meets Edge and he tells him that he hopes he does not change anything at Wrestlemania since he defeated 29 more superstars to have his match. Pearce tells Edge that he will look for the best option and must accept it. Edge ends by telling him that he hopes he makes the right decision.
Kevin Owens is in the ring and presents his show. Owens talks about what happened last week when he hit him while he was at the commentary table. Owens wants an explanation from Sami Zayn and calls him into the ring. Sami enters while two cameras record her. Sami does not go up to the ring and apologizes to him. Sami says she doesn’t know what’s on her mind and she doesn’t know why she acted like this. Owens tells him that answer is not what he wants. Sami tells him that if he wants to be part of his documentary, he can be. Sami says that next week he will present his great documentary and there will even be a red carpet. Sami says he is tired of talking to a youtuber, Logan Paul , who has millions of followers and that will also appear in the documentary.
Sami Zayn says that Logan Paul will help him throughout the red carpet prep for next week’s premiere. Owens says he doesn’t care about any of that to which Sami tells him that he doesn’t care about anything, not even his apology. Owens shuts up Sami and tells her that the only reason he hasn’t kicked his butt yet is because he wants her to answer his question. ” Sami, do you want to face me at Wrestlemania? ” Owens shoots. Sami does not know what to answer and Owens demands an answer to which Sami answers yes . Owens says that’s what he wanted to hear, and now it will tear him apart. Owens attacks Sami with everything and applies a Stunner in the center of the ring while looking towards the Wrestlemania logo. Kevin Owens will face Sami Zayn at Wrestlemania 37.
Daniel Bryan meets Adam Pearce backstage and tells him not to listen to Edge and Roman Reigns. Bryan tells him that he knows he will make the right decision and he just has to make it official.
They issue a summary of what happened last Sunday at Fastlane 2021 when Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax defeated Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair to retain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. As well as Sasha’s subsequent attack on Bianca.
Bianca Belair is interviewed and says that she did not expect the actions of Sasha Banks , but she knows that what she did in Fastlane is because she fears him and knows that she can defeat her. Bianca says that now she only thinks about Wrestlemania and the Smackdown Women’s Championship and that will be when she will be crowned champion and humiliate Sasha.
Bianca Belair vs. Natalya (accompanied by Tamina)
The match begins and Bianca applies a Dropkick to Natalya followed by blows to the corner until she knocks her out of the ring. Bianca is in absolute control of the fight. Bianca looks for several alternatives to a Rollup and applies a Powerslam. Bianca goes up to the corner but Sasha Banks makes her entrance. Natalya distracts the referee so that Tamina punches Bianca and Sasha taunts her. After commercials, Natalya dominates the fight by applying various locks to Bianca. Sasha joins the commentary table. Natalya applies several blows to Bianca in the corner to apply a Tornado DDT that Bianca reverses with a Suplex. Bianca is back in control and applies a Powerbomb followed by the count that remains at 2. Bianca’s splash that Natalya reverses with a Lariat and the count that remains at 2. Bianca applies a Facebuster to Natalya and goes out of the ring. Sasha faces Bianca and she slaps Sasha to return to the ring and apply the KOD and win the fight.
Winner: Bianca Belair via pinfall.
With no time to celebrate, Sasha attacks Bianca from behind and watches the Wrestlemania logo as Bianca retreats.
Edge shows up in Roman Riegns’ dressing room and Jay doesn’t want him in. Roman says to leave him because he has the courage to get here to talk to him. Edge tells Reigns that Adam Pearce is trying to sabotage his match at Wrestlemania and doesn’t want Bryan to get involved. Edge tells Reigns to use his power to make that not happen and Pearce make the right choice.
They announce the momentary matches for each night of Wrestlemania.

The fight begins and Ziggler dominates with blows on Rey to throw him out of the ring and immediately throws him over the barricade. Dominik looks at his father’s condition and receives a Superkick from Ziggler. Back to the ring. Rey hits Ziggler with everything and dodges a 619 to launch himself on Rey in the corner who receives a Leg Drop from Ziggler and the count that remains at 2. Rey looks for 619 but Roode avoids it and Dominik throws him out of the ring. Ziggler takes advantage and applies a Zig Zag to Rey followed by the count that remains in 2. Rey finally applies the 619 followed by the Splash, looks for the count that Roode wants to avoid but Dominik prevents it and Rey wins the fight.
Winner: Rey Mysterio via pinfall
Adam Pearce makes his way into the ring. Then, the Universal champion, Roman Reigns makes his entrance accompanied by Jey Uso and Paul Heyman. Edge makes his entrance. Finally,  Daniel Bryan enters the ring. Pearce says everyone is nervous tonight as Wrestlemania is near. Pearce says that everything everyone has told him makes sense. Pearce says that at Wrestlemania, Roman Reigns will defend the Universal Championship in a Triple Threat against Edge and Daniel Bryan. Edge and Bryan hit everything. Bryan’s Running Knee to Edge and Reigns applies the Superman Punch. Jey gives Reigns a chair but Edge spears Reigns and Jey. Edge is out of control and hits Reigns and Bryan with the chair repeatedly. Edge places a chair over Reigns’ head and grabs another but Jey removes his cousin from the ring. Several officials and umpires enter the ring and Edge hits them with a chair. Finally, Edge is left sitting in a chair in the center of the ring with a furious face.
