Liverpool begins their pre-season with a fixture against Stuttgart on Tuesday as they look to begin their 2021-22 season on a high after a poor performance last season.

The Reds finished 3rd in the Premier League campaign last season and were never in the race since the start of the season.
Poor performances coupled with a number of injuries to key players did not help their cause.
As a result, Liverpool eventually fell 17 points short off eventual champions, Manchester City.
They have made a number of recruits this season and will look to give them game time in these matches.
Konate is a sure contender to start these matches after he moved from Leipzig for £34 million.
The Austrian based side had a decent campaign last season and finished 4th in the 2. Liga.
They too will look to get off to a positive start following the humiliation faced in the 8-0 loss.
