5 Biggest Price Increases Retained Players

#5 – Arshdeep Singh (PBKS)

The left-arm seamer always had talent, but a decent run was missing. He got that in the 2021 season, as he ended up with 18 wickets in 12 games.

#4 – Umran Malik (SRH)

The IPL always springs up these stories, and his is one such! Only making his debut in the last couple of games in a miserable 2021 season for SRH, Malik made heads turn with his sheer pace.

Fast forward to 30 November, the Orange Army have retained him for an amount of INR 4 crores, which is a 2,000% hike from his 2021 salary of INR 20 lakhs!
