In this World Cup, we have seen several players perform to the best of their abilities, which showcase the club’s efforts in keeping them fit and in-form for the major tournament.

Ajax

Mohammed Kudus and Davy Klaassen represent Ajax in the World Cup 2022. The two have combinedly scored 3 goals in the competition so far.

Kudus scored a brace in Ghana’s 3-2 win over South Korea in their crucial MD 2 clash of Group H. Klaassen found the net on MD 1 in Holland’s 2-0 win over Senegal. The Dutch player has also provided 2 assists in 3 matches as well.

Ecuador’s loss to Senegal on MD 3 ended their hopes of qualifying for the Round of 16.

Batshuayi is another representative from the Turkish club who found the net on one occasion so far.

The striker scored on MD 1 in Belgium’s 1-0 win over Canada in Group F.

Barcelona has seen 3 players on the score-sheet at the World Cup in Torres, Gavi and Lewandowski. The trio have scored a combined 5 goals in the competition.

Messi struck 2 goals in the competition; being a goal each vs Saudi Arabia and Mexico.

Carlos Soler’s strike vs Costa Rica in the 7-0 thumping win adds his name to the PSG representative tally.

Manchester United

Manchester United’s represents have scored 6 goals as well in the World Cup.

Rashford leads the pack with 3 goals while Bruno Fernandes (2) and Casemiro also found the net.

Bruno has been the most impressive player for Portugal in their campaign with 2 goals and 2 assists in the competition. Marcus Rashford scored both goals last night in England’s 3-0 win over Wales.

Casemiro’s sole effort vs Switzerland has been one of the goals of the competition which helped Brazil seal qualification to the Round of 16.
