Most expensive EPL January signings: The January EPL transfer window is a chance for clubs to boost their current sides with further additions.

Over time as the game has become more commercialized with the influx of cash-flow, clubs have been given more liberty in breaking the bank for signings.

The forward made a £56m move in the 2018 January transfer window from Borussia Dortmund to North London’s Arsenal.

Aubameyang made the move to bolster Arsenal’s squad ahead of the remainder of the season after being one of Dortmund’s top players over 5 seasons.

Christian Pulisic

ImageThe USA international made the switch to Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund in January 2019 before being sent back on loan till the end of that season.

Pulisic’s move costed £58m from the Bundesliga club and has been a part of the Blues then.

Over 4 seasons, he has become one of the vital players for the Blues but injuries and consistent fitness issues have kept him out of action during recent times.

Laporte joined Manchester City from Athletic Bilbao in January 2018 in a £57m move.

The Netherlands international became a leader at the club as he played on and became one of Klopp’s most integral team-players.

The Ukrainian international became the most expensive EPL signing after he made a £89m move from Shakhtar to Chelsea.

The winger has put pen to paper on a bumper 8.5-year contract with the Blues as he became the 5th signing for Chelsea in January.
