Most team goals WC 2022: The World Cup has entered the end of Match-week 2 with 68 goals scored and a number of thrilling results taken place.

With the Round of 16 looming, teams are eyeing positive results to seal their places in order to avoid the hassle of taking it down to Match-day 3.

A total of 68 goals have been scored so far with several quality players and team showcasing their prowess.

Today, we look at the top 5 teams with most goals in the World Cup 2022 so far:

Iran

Team Melli has scored 4 goals in 2 league matches so far which includes a massive 2-0 win over Iran which kept their WC progress alive.

After a 6-2 loss vs England, Iran put in a top-notch performance to seal a huge win over Wales. Taremi leads the pack with two goals while Cheshmi and Rezaeian have also found the net.

The Blazers have also scored 4 goals in the competition from their 2 group matches.

After a goalless draw vs Morocco, Croatia struck four goals last night in the win over Canada; hereby keeping their qualification hopes alive alongside eliminating Canada.

Kramaric is their top scorer with 2 goals while Livaja and Majer have also found the net with a strike a piece.

France

They beat Australia 4-1 in their opening match with Giroud scoring twice alongside Mbappé and Rabiot.

The PSG lad tripled his efforts on MD 2 when he scored both goals in their 2-1 win over Denmark.

Kylian Mbappé has scored 7 WC goals, which took him one ahead of Thierry Henry.

England

ImageEngland is next in line with 6 tournament goals in the WC 2022; all of which came in their first group match vs Iran.

The Three Lions began their Group B campaign with a bang as Saka (2), Bellingham, Sterling, Rashford and Grealish found the net.

After this, they held USA to a goalless draw on MD 2, with a less than inspiring performance.

With a final game vs Wales; England eye more goals in order to seal a top place finish from the group.

Spain is on top of the list having struck 8 goals in the competition. La Roja began the campaign with a 7-0 hammering of Costa Rica with Torres (2), Olmo, Asensio, Gavi, Soler and Morata finding the net.

This was followed by a 1-1 draw vs Germany last night where Morata scored. The Atletico Madrid striker has started the WC in style and hopes to continue the rich vein of form.

Spain hasn’t sealed their qualification as yet and need to beat Japan in their final group match to ensure the same.
