Most Club players in WC: The FIFA World Cup is almost upon us with several players called up their respective nations for the mid-season carnival.
It is a first mid-season FIFA World Cup in the history of the tournament. Hence, club form is of prime importance to secure a place in the final squad.
Players’ dreams are made when they are selected for their national sides and it’s the clubs who need to be given credit for their growth and form as well.

Manchester United

The Red Devils have 14 players from their squad participating in the FIFA WC 2022.
Cristiano Ronaldo is the headline name from Manchester United, who is the captain and leader of Portugal. Alongside him are team-mates, Diego Dalot and Bruno Fernandes.

Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane, Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw and Christian Eriksen are some of the others who will be part of the competition as well.
Al-Sadd
Al-Sadd has seen 15 squad players travel to Qatar for the FIFA World Cup 2022.
Qatar captain, Hassan Al-Haydos leads the pack with the forward playing his first ever World Cup. Ghana player, Andre Ayew is another member from their squad to play in the competition.
13 of their players play for Qatar with the other two playing for South Korea and Ghana.

Barcelona
The Catalan club has 16 players in the World Cup 2022 which includes the likes of Gavi, Pedri, Busquets, Lewandowski, Ter Stegan and others.
Majority of Barcelona’s players are the World Cup are of Spanish origin while there are few others who represent Germany, Poland, Netherlands as well.
Manchester City
The defending Premier League champions have 16 players in Qatar from the World Cup.
4 of them in Walker, Grealish, Foden and Stones and Phillips are part of the English setup while 3 players are part of Santos’ Portugal.
There is a German as well as Brazilian contingent as well, who are part of the 22nd edition of the World Cup.

Bayern Munich

The Bavarian club hold the record this time with 17 of their players in Qatar for the FIFA World Cup.
The likes of Musiala, Müller, Gnabry, Goretzka, Neuer are a few others make up their majority in the German setup. France has 4 representatives in Coman, Upamecano, Pavard and Hernandez.
