WWE RAW Result: Raw begins with a recap of Cody Rhodes’ WWE return to WrestleMania 38 and his promo from last week’s show. Seth Rollins was also shown getting in the ring with him and shaking his hand…
Jimmy Smith greets the spectators. Byron Saxton and Jerry Lawler serve as co-commentators. Lawler replaces Graves, who is on their honeymoon.
In ring: Miz TV with guest Cody Rhodes
Miz gives a brief introduction before introducing Cody Rhodes, who gets a big firework display for his performance. Rhodes is loudly cheered by the audience. The Miz mentions Rhodes’ grand entrance and wonders if he was trying to steal the show.
Miz wonders if Rhodes is a person who only cares about himself. Rhodes says he’s just enjoying the moment since he’s been away for so long. Rhodes poses for the audience and is cheered again.
Miz claims that if it weren’t for his family name, Rhodes wouldn’t be a plumber’s grandson, just just a plumber. Rhodes doesn’t see that Miz has changed – he’s still good old, reliable Mike.
Rhodes again mentions the specific reason he is here, as he wants to win the Undisputed Champion “Belt”. Miz corrects and says it’s a “title” because belts hold up the pants.
The Miz notes that Seth Rollins demands a rematch because Rhodes couldn’t surprise him this time. Miz doesn’t give Cody much of a chance against either Rollins or him tonight. The audience chants “CODY”.
WWE Raw Result & Highlight
The Miz is upset that after Mania everyone was talking about Rhodes and not him. Rhodes wants The Miz to calm down. He respects Miz and his accomplishments. At the same time, he has no problem with Rollins and welcomes a rematch, but Miz is about to make things personal.
Rhodes is ready to take on the best “wrestlers” in the world. Miz corrects him and calls them “superstars” – Rhodes dismisses this. Rhodes is excited to have his first match on Raw in six years. A loud “CODY” chant erupts again. The Miz tried to attack, but Rhodes dodged him and Miz fell out of the ring.
Video Recap: On Friday Night SmackDown, Roman Reigns tasked The Usos with capturing tonight’s Raw Tag Team Championships so they could tie the Tag Team Championships together.
Note: In the official preview, Rey Mysterio was advertised as an opponent for Veer Mahaan, however Dominik Mysterio took his place.
1.Match
Veer Mahaan def. Dominik Mysterio via submission in Cervical Clutch (2:00)
Post match: Veer Mahaan applies the hold again and holds it until several officials rush into the ring and intervene. Afterwards, Dominik is taken out of the hall on a stretcher.
After a commercial break, Dominik is loaded into an ambulance.
Backstage: Kevin Patrick wants to find out why Mahaan attacked Dominik after the match. Veer Mahaan loudly proclaims that he will scare any man.

Earlier Today Video: Sarah Schreiber interviewed AJ Styles about his upcoming match against Damian Priest. “The Phenomenal One” is afraid of what he will do to Priest and Edge. Styles mentions that he has to prove himself against two men. Styles saw Priest and attacked him. Both fought until several officials intervened.

AJ Styles vs. Damian Priest ended in a no contest
After Priest knocked Styles out of the ring and then got on one knee in the ring, a purple spotlight was shined on him and he stared into the camera after a sound effect
Backstage: AJ Styles is at Sarah Schreiber’s place for an interview and says he doesn’t know what the hell that was. However, he’s not done with Priest and Edge yet.
Seth “Freakin” Rollins joins the commentators for the next match.
3.Match
Cody Rhodes def. The Miz after Cross Rhodes (11:48)
Post match: Rollins enters the ring as Rhodes celebrates. Rollins heard everything Rhodes said about him earlier. He also overheard him using the word rematch. Rhodes was a surprise opponent at WrestleMania for him. So Cody had an advantage. Rollins calls for a rematch and Cody replies, “Yes, absolutely, yes!” Rollins laughs and dances as his entrance theme plays.
