WWE Rumor Round: Drew McIntyre Unexpectedly Ill, Indus Sher Returns to WWE NXT House show, Raw
Drew McIntyre was absent from this weekend’s WWE live events despite being announced, leading some fans to question why he was absent.
From the shows. McIntyre last appeared on the current episode of SmackDown last Friday, where he exchanged blows with Karrion Kross before.
A strap match between both Superstars was confirmed for WWE Extreme Rules. As PW Insider reports, the Scot has been struggling with.
Severe food poisoning and is said to be very ill. That didn’t stop him from showing up for work on Friday, however, and fighting his way through SmackDown.
According to the report, McIntyre was given an IV before the show. After that, the former WWE Champion was sent home to rest.
Meanwhile, Braun Strowman has been recruited to take McIntyre’s place at the live events, marking the first time “The Monster Among Men” has appeared.
On WWE shows outside of television since he returned to the company earlier this month. The PW Insider hasn’t given any details on when.
McIntyre is expected to be well again, although food poisoning is rarely a long-term setback. As a result, the McIntyre vs. Kross match is scheduled.
To take place on October 8th at WWE Extreme Rules at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Indus Sher, the team of Veer Mahaan and Sanga.
Debuted in 2020 as a tag team managed by Malcolm Bivens (Stokely Hathaway). Their first run at NXT was short-lived, but they returned in 2021.
As part of India’s “WWE Superstar Spectacle” pay-per-view event, teaming with Drew McIntyre against Jinder Mahal & The Bollywood Boyz.
After that, both men went their separate ways and Veer Mahaan acted as a trio with Jinder Mahal and Shanky on Raw before being marketed.

As a singles wrestler under Vince McMahon. Now, both stars have reunited in a live NXT event on September 24 in Citrus Springs, Florida.

Tonight’s Raw takes place at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Canada. Five matches have already been confirmed for the show.
