WWE Universal Championship
Roman Reigns (c) vs. Edge

Roman Reigns defended his WWE Universal Championship title against Daniel Bryan at Fastlane 2021 where Edge was the Special Guest Enforcer. Daniel Bryan was all set to win the match as he had Reigns locked under his submission hold, the “Yes Lock”.

Jey Uso appeared in the ring taking advantage of the missing referee in the match as the first referee was unconscious and broke the submission hold thereby helping Roman Reigns after which the Edge appeared into the ring and all the 4 started fighting. After a while Bryan caught Reigns again into the submission hold and Reigns tapped out. Yeah, he tapped out! Meanwhile angry Edge broke the submission hold and hit both the superstars with the steel chair after which Reigns pinned Bryan as soon as the second referee came and retained his Universal Title.
