Esports Events to Watch in 2022

Esports is slowly returning to the pre-pandemic state. Organizers have already begun announcing tentative dates for major events, and Esports Charts has compiled a calendar of the top 25 most anticipated esports events in 2022. If the pandemic situation does not worsen, most of them will be held offline and fans will have the opportunity to see their favorite teams in person.

The list of events will be regularly updated. For more information on the ongoing & upcoming events visit our tournament section.

January 2022:

The league kicked-off on February 4 & will run till late July, when the last major ends. After that the Championship Weekend will start, which will conclude the results of the season.

LCS Spring. North American League of Legends Championship Series started later than all the other top regional competitions, and the spring split of the event will end on April 24.  Organizers returned the Super Weeks battle format for the new season — teams play three matches three days in a row in this format.

Top CS:GO teams, including Natus Vincere, Team Vitality, G2 Esports, and Gambit Esports, will compete in the tournament for a $1 million prize pool. Note that IEM Katowice will also feature the final event in StarCraft II esports season.

Recall that FFWS 2021 Singapore has set a record for Peak Viewers in esports (not taking into account the Chinese streaming platforms).
