WWE SUPERSTARS IN HOLLYWOOD MOVIES: Many of the WWE Superstars have spread themselves and tried their hands at acting in the Hollywood and a good portion of those superstars have succeeded too for example, Dwayne Johnson, John Cena etc.
Here are 5 WWE female superstars who have worked in Hollywood movies:
Trish Stratus:
Trish Stratus has been one of the greatest Diva of WWE and also the one with the best career as a WWE Women wrestler. Trish Stratus went onto Hollywood movies after she retired from the WWE.
She also had a background built up for Hollywood as she was a model prior to working at WWE. The movies she appeared in were Bounty Hunters, Gridlocked and Bail Enforcers. Apart from that Trish Stratus also appeared under the Television show, Armed & Famous.
Paige:
Paige had a short tenure at the WWE but in that very time, she had the biggest fan base due to her unique talent. She won the Divas Championship twice and was believed to be the next best WWE women’s wrestler before she moved on to working in Hollywood movies.
Paige starred in Santa’s Little Helper and also was the voice behind the character of her own name “Paige” in Surf’s Up 2: Wavemania.
The Bella Twins:
The Bella twins have had a well known career at the WWE with both Nikki and Brie Bella having had their hands on the Divas Championship in their careers. Both the twins went on to have a career at Hollywood and came back at the WWE after.
The Bella twins also had their own show by the name, “Total Bellas” apart from their work in Hollywood. Both the Superstars appeared in the movie Confessions of a Womanizer and lent their voices to The Flintstones & WWE: Stone Age Smackdown.
Becky Lynch:
Becky Lynch is currently on a leave and is expected to make her return soon, maybe at the Wrestlemania. Becky also got a chance to co-star in her first movie in 2018. She appeared in The Marine 6: Close Quarters with fellow WWE wrestlers Shawn Michaels & The Miz.
Becky has been one of the iconic Diva wrestlers at WWE and could make a career in Hollywood too if she chooses to.
Ronda Rousey:
Ronda Rousey has been the badass women wrestler at WWE as well as UFC. Ronda Rousey with Kurt Angle also defeated The Game Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at Wrestlemania 34th. Ronda appeared as Luna in The Expendables 3, Fast & Furious 7 and Mile 22. Ronda hasn’t appeared in a lead role yet but one can expect her to appear in a lead role in future.
