With the IPL being suspended midway there is a halt in major actions on field. WTC final is coming up followed by India tour of England which means cricket will be back in no time for the Indian fans.
India will lock horns against New Zealand from 18th June at Rose Bowl , Southampton to battle it out for the Inaugural WTC.

He also has a century in his name in the english conditions, highest score being 102. Gill seems to be the potential first choice opener with Rohit Sharma in the final .
2. Washington Sundar
Washington Sundar has proved to be a powerful young batting all – rounder who is technically sound to prove his mettle . His furious performance at the Gabba was surreal and has helped him fetch a crucial spot in Whites. Out of the 4 test matches, he was able to take 6 wickets with an economy of 3.41. With bat he has scored 265 runs averaging 66.25, his highest score bieng 96. Sundar is a promising all rounder who always chips in whenever the team demands .
3. Axar Patel
Whenever Axar Patel has played for India, he has always made an impact which shows how he takes the opportunity with both hands and makes it count. His recent performance against England was tremendous and unpredictable. The slow left arm orthodox bowler has played 3 test matches which was his debut series and he took 27 wickets with an economy of 2.24. He has a great potential to make it into the 11.

4. Shardul Thakur
Shardul Thakur is one of the most impactful bowling all rounders for India . He is a wicket taking bowler and a powerful striker of the ball. He has been part of a couple of tests, taking 7 wickets with an economy of 3.67 while he has scored 73 runs, averaging 36.5. Thakur is a match with english conditions and has a high chance of being in the 11.
5. Mohammed Siraj
Siraj is a classic example of sheer hard work. He has made some major changes in his techniques over the years resulting in a fruitful addition to the team. The right arm fast bowler has played 5 tests where he was able to take 16 wickets with an economy of 2.82. Siraj is capable of doing wonders and holds a great chance.
