5 Major Predictions for this week’s SmackDown- 2nd April 2021

WWE Smackdown Predictions: WWE Wrestlemania is just 8 days to go! Some of the confirmed Wrestlemania matches yet are Roman Reigns (c) vs. Edge vs. Daniel Bryan for the Universal Title, Sasha Banks (c) vs. Bianca Belair for the SmackDown Women’s Title, Cesaro vs. Seth Rollins, Big E (c) vs. Apollo Crews for the Intercontinental Title, and Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn.

The latest WWE Smackdown episode will see the appearance of famous Youtube star Logan Paul who will be brought by Sami Zayn as a part of his documentary. Here are 5 predictions for Smackdown 2nd April 2021:

Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns & Edge in a Faceoff:

With almost a week to go for the 37th Wrestlemania, the superstars that would be facing each other in the main event of the 2nd night might be seen in a faceoff at the latest Smackdown episode.

The last time this happened, The Rated R superstar Edge stood tall but who would stand tall in the next faceoff between the 3 superstars? Roman Reigns needs to show his standing in the match and prove why he’s been the Universal Champion for so long.

8 Man Tag Team Match:

The latest Smackdown episode might bring a 8 man Tag Team brawl between the Mysterios, The Street Profits, Chad Gable & Otis and Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship Titles.

 For the 9th April Smackdown episode, WWE has officially confirmed a fatal 4-way match between the 4 teams which is why there are high possibilities that we might see this 8 man tag team contest this Friday Night Smackdown.

Edge V/S Jey Uso:

Last week, the Rated R Superstar Edge was seen thrashing Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan and Jey Uso with a steel chair in the ring.

With that being done, Edge might face Jey Uso this Friday to show his position in the triple threat match soon to come at the main event of Wrestlemania 37th for the WWE Universal Championship. This match could end up with Edge beating Jey Uso in his dominant fashion like he has done before.

Big E V/S Apollo Crews:

The current Intercontinental Champion Big E was defeated by Apollo Crews and his team in a 6 man tag team match a week ago. The whole match seemed to be in the favour of Big E and his team whereas in the end, Apollo with his cunning won the match by attacking Big E from behind.

Apollo Crews has stopped playing by the rule book and we might see a big brawl between Apollo and Big E this Friday in a singles non title match to ignite the opening fire between the 2 superstars before Wrestlemania.

Seth Rollins attacks Cesaro:

This Friday Night Smackdown might witness Cesaro being attacked by Rollins backstage or even in the ring. Last week after Seth Rollins defeated Shinsuke Nakamura in a singles match, Cesaro appeared out of nowhere and attacked Seth Rollins.

Cesaro had a match scheduled with Rollins at the Fastlane PPV which got cancelled after Cesaro got injured by Rollins. Seth Rollins is all fired up to face Cesaro this Wrestlemania in a singles match but we might see a quick brawl between the 2 before the Wrestlemania too.
