5-wicket haul by a bowler in ICC Final, Check Out the Names

5 Wickets in ICC Final: It is a pleasure for any player to represent their country in the ICC Tournament Final. And taking five wickets in it is a matter of pride. Kyle Jamieson has done a similar feat in the historic final of the ICC World Championships. There are only three bowlers who reached this landmark before Jamieson in the ICC Final.

Kyle Jamieson (2021): 5/31

One of the tallest fast bowlers in the circuit 6’8″ tall Jamieson became the fourth bowler Who took five wicket haul in the ICC Tournament Final. 26 years old Jamieson bangs fifer against India in the ongoing WTC Final at Southampton. He is the most economical bowler for the Kiwis. He bowled 22 overs including 12 maiden overs with the cheapest economy rate of 1.4 taking 5 for 31.

Jacques Kallis (1998): 5/30

Jacques Kallis is one of the greatest all-rounders we’ve seen in the game of cricket. He was the third bowler who grabbed a fifer in the ICC Final. In the ICC KnockOut Trophy of 1998, Kallis showed his artifice against Windies helped South Africa to win the trophy by taking 5 wickets giving just 30 runs with an economy of 4.00.

Joel Garner (1979): 5/38

There are only two players Woh picked up 5 wickets in the World Cup Final and Garner is one of them. The West Indian fast bowler took 5 wickets by giving 38 runs against England at Lord’s. It helps the West Indies to win back to back World Cup.

Gary Gilmour (1975): 5/48

Australian left-arm fast bowler who picked first-ever five-wicket haul in the first-ever ICC Cricket World Cup in 1975 against the mighty West Indies. Gary Gilmour took 5 for 48 in 12 overs including 2 maidens at the top.

Unfortunately, he can’t stop Windies to get a winning total of 291. Also, he picked up 6 wicket haul in his debut world cup match in the semi-final against England in the same edition. He holds the record for the most number of wickets in any ICC Tournament semi-final and final.
