Road Safety World Series: India Legends lose the match against England Legends by 5 runs in a thriller contest


Road Safety World Series- England Legends beats India Legends: An exciting match was played on Tuesday between India Legends and England Legends. In this match of the Road Safety World Series, both teams fought hard to win till the last ball. But in the end, the England Legends team won the game. The England Legends team led by Kevin Pietersen won the match by six runs.

In the match, Irfan Pathan and Manpreet Goni struggled to the last for India Legends but could not score 19 runs in the last over and the team had to face defeat.

Talk about the match, India Legends won the toss and decided to bowl first. But the England Legends team proved their decision wrong. England’s team added 45 runs for the first wicket in the fourth over itself. Although the rest of England players could not do anything special, but captain Kevin Pietersen batted hard and scored 75 runs in 37 balls and took the team’s score to 188. From India, Yusuf Pathan took the maximum three and Irfan Pathan-Munaf Patel took two wickets each.

Later, India Legends started chasing the target and had a very bad start and only three wickets fell for 17 runs. Sachin, Sehwag and Kaif returned to the pavilions cheaply. Even after this, the players of the team kept getting out and at one time the team’s score was 119/7. But after this Irfan Pathan (61 not out from 34 balls) and Manpreet Gony (35 not out from 16 balls) scored and took the team closer to victory, but could not win the match.
