AEW Dynamite Result: Live AEW Result & Highlight, Winner & Grade – 02nd September 2021

AEW Dynamite Result: This week’s show has several attractions, such as a threesome match between The Elite and Lucha Bros and Jurassic Express, a duel between FTR and Santana and Ortiz, or interviews with Chris Jericho, MJF and CM Punk.

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) (with Tully Blanchard) vs.  Santana and Ortiz

Harwood and Santana begin. Harwood with a Shoulder Tackle, both slaps to the chest and Santana’s Shoulder Tackle are exchanged. Chaos erupts within minutes with both couples hitting each other in the center of the ring.  Santana and Ortiz with Topes with Giro in stereo and violence breaks out at ringside.  Harwood and Wheeler are crashed into the barricades and Santana proceeds with a Running Cannonball assisted by his partner.

Harwood’s Body Slam, who gives the relief to Wheeler without Ortiz being able to realize it.  Wheeler looks for the count of three after a Dropkick to the face and Harwood stomps on Ortiz’s arm, in addition to punishing his limbs with a submission lock.

Wheeler removes one of the corner protectors behind the referee’s back and Harwood uses it to injure Ortiz’s arm. The New Yorker recovers with an Enzuigiri and finishes off Wheeler with a Lariat to finally take over from Santana.

Santana’s DDT combo on Wheeler, Three Amigos to Harwood and Frog Splash for the count of two. Double Back Suplex to Harwood, Cutter and Double Wheelbarrow Suplex. But Wheeler stops the count of three from the outside. Harwood’s Brainbuster after a Wheeler Uppercut and tremendous nearfall. Harwood and Wheeler go for a Brainbuster double on Ortiz. But Santana takes Harwood ahead with a Spear and Ortiz pulls a rollup from his sleeve on Wheeler for another nearfall.

Santana and Ortiz look for the Street Sweeper. But Santana is thrown to ringside and Wheeler takes the opportunity to land a Gory Guerrero Special. Harwood with a Superplex and Big Rig on Ortiz. But Santana stops the count of three with a Diving Crossbody. Santana’s Rolling Cutter, Ortiz’s Lungblower, Santana’s Thrust Kick and Wheelbarrow Suplex on Wheeler for the win.

Winners: Santana and Ortiz via pinfall.

Daniel Garcia and 2point0 speak from the backstage. Jeff Parker and Matt Lee speak highly of Garcia, who claims that on Friday at AEW Rampage. He is going to twist Darby Allin so much that he won’t be able to get to his match against CM Punk at AEW All Out.

CM Punk heads into the ring to talk about his match against Darby Allin on AEW All Out. Punk says that he will never tire of hearing “Cult of Personality” on his way to the ring and talks about fighting for the first time in more than seven years. He says that he is going to seize the moment because it could all end on Sunday.

Punk wants to make a promise, and that is that every time he goes out into the ring, he is going to give his best.  However, Daniel Garcia and 2point0 rush into the ring to attack Punk. But soon repelled by Darby Allin and Sting. Punk finishes Jeff Parker with the GTS and Sting finishes Matt Lee with the Scorpion Death Drop.

Sting takes a microphone and says that he always wanted to share a ring with Punk, but his paths never crossed. Also, he claims that both Darby Allin is more than ready. So he won’t be in the corner of protecting him during the match.

AEW Dynamite Result

A video reviews the rivalry between Kenny Omega and Cristian Cage. Where all the commentators give their predictions about what could happen in AEW All Out.

Tony Schiavone interviews MJF ahead of his match against Chris Jericho on AEW All Out.  MJF goes over all the nicknames Jericho has had throughout his 40-year career. He assures that Jericho will always be part of the Mount Rushmore of wrestling, but when all is said and done, MJF will take his place.  Jericho has some big shoes to fill, but like the return of Muhammad Ali, he is on a downward spiral.

Like Ali, Jericho is an addict – he needs to be in the spotlight, and that’s why he risked his career.  MJF ends by saying that in All Out, he will end one of the best careers in professional wrestling, and he believes it is poetic that the same longing that led Jericho to dance is the reason music dies.

Orange Cassidy vs. Jack evans

Matt Hardy attacks Orange Cassidy before he rings the bell, so the referee ejects him from ringside.  Taking advantage of Matt’s attack, Evans dominates with kicks, a Handspring Back Elbow and a Suplex. Cassidy escapes from another Handspring Back Elbow, hits a Swinging DDT for a count of two.  Cassidy’s Suicide Dive and Diving Crossbody for the count of two.  Michinoku Driver and again count of two.

Cassidy proceeds with his characteristic kicks, hitting Evans with the corner guard and trying to find a second Diving Crossbody, but Evans catches him on top and lands a Spider German Suplex followed by a Diving Corkscrew Kick.  Vertical Suplex, kick to the stomach and Cassidy surprises with an Inside Cradle for the victory.

Winner: Orange Cassidy via pinfall.

Matt Hardy attacks Orange Cassidy after the match and proceeds with The Leech, but Chuck Taylor and Wheeler Yuta come to the rescue until they are outmatched by the entire Hardy Family Office. However, Jurassic Express makes an appearance to match forces and help best friends.

Eddie Kingston addresses Miro in the face of his fight in AEW All Out.  Kingston says that he will go for Miro’s neck, as it is his weak point, and that without the TNT Championship he is not “God”. Miro responds by assuring that redemption only comes after the agony, “and this is the word of the redeemer.”

Jon Moxley talks about his match against Satoshi Kojima on AEW All Out.

Chris Jericho goes into the ring to be interviewed by Jim Ross for his fight against MJF on AEW All Out.  “Chicago is Jericho!” Jericho remembers that 22 years ago he started his way to the main event in this city and in large part thanks to the man who accompanies him, Jim Ross.  When asked why he puts his career on the line in the match against MJF, Jericho replies that MJF is a piece of shit and the only thing that has more than him is three wins.

He says the reason he signed with AEW is because he can never be complacent.  There was never a guarantee that AEW would be a success, but here they are, in Episode 100, as the most popular wrestling company of the moment.  Jericho says that he could stay for much longer, but every time he looks in the mirror, he would remember that he failed MJF.

Jericho doesn’t want Sunday to be the end and that’s why he has to take a chance.  If something goes wrong on Sunday and his journey ends right where he started it in Chicago, so be it: He will move to the comment table and thank everyone for his support.

If MJF wants to retire Jericho, he will have to be the best possible version of him, and that is not going to happen, because MJF does not have what it takes to get rid of him.

Darby Allin addresses CM Punk in a video.  He says that Punk was his favorite fighter when he was little, and thinks that Punk may not be considering his possibilities. At AEW All Out, Darby will either defeat Punk or die trying.

Brian Cage vs. Powerhouse Hobbs (with Hook)

Taz joins the comment table.  Powerhouse Hobbs is attacked from behind by Brian Cage during his entry, and once they reach ringside, he crashes him into the metal barricades in a bad way.

Hook confronts Cage, giving Hobbs some recovery time, who surprises Cage back into the ring with elbows and a brutal Shoulder Tackle.  Hobbs with a Running Lariat against the cornerback, Cage responds with a Lariat, Enzuigiri and a German Suplex attempt, but Hobbs counters him in time.  Hobbs kicks to the face and body until Cage manages to apply a Flatliner to return the advantage.

They both search for Lariats in unison, Cage with kicks and Exploder Suplex followed by a German Suplex for the count of two.  Hobbs escapes from the Drill Claw, applies a Spinebuster and again counts two.  High Knee Strike by Cage, F5 and Slingshot Vertical Suplex.  Hook interferes and distracts the referee, allowing Ricky Starks to hit Cage with the FTW Championship.  Oklahoma Stampede and victory.
Winner: Powerhouse Hobbs (with Hook) via pinfall.

Malakai Black announces that he has given Lee Johnson seven days to fix his latest AEW Dynamite bug.

QT Marshall, accompanied by The Factory, asks Paul Wight to face him in the ring.  Wight makes an appearance and is attacked by The Factory, although he easily gets rid of them.  The Gunn Club also comes to cover Wight’s back, but eventually, Billy Gunn hits the giant with several silletazos.  A bewildered QT Marshall returns to the ring with his team to finish off Wight with an assisted cutter.

Britt Baker announces that Jamie Hayter and Rebel would be at AEW All Out’s Casino Battle Royale.  Baker makes it official that she has renewed her contract for several years, and as part of the negotiations, Kris Statlander will have a handicap match this Friday at AEW Rampage.

Tay Conti vs.  Penelope Ford (with The Bunny)

Conti takes out Penelope Ford and The Bunny with a Suicide Dive before the bell rings.  It counted with Judo Throws, Backbreaker and rollup for the count of two.  Facecracker, Pump Kick and again two counts for the Brazilian.  Conti hits another Pump Kick and goes up to the corner, but Ford knocks her over the third rope against her stomach.

Ford now chokes Conti with his boot against the cornerback and Bunny gets involved behind the referee’s back.  Dropkick on Conti’s back, Springboard Double Knees on the edge of the ring and elbows to the cervicals.  Conti avoids a Handspring Back Elbow, tries his Pump Kick and Ford dodges it.  Conti dodges a Pump Kick attempt and connects a Diving Crossbody.

Ford looks for a Handspring Spear, which Conti receives with a Spinning Slam.  Ford locks her opponent in a Muta Lock and Conti reverts to a Calf Slicer until she reaches the ropes.  He had more shots in the corner, but Ford pulled a Gutbuster out of nowhere. The referee is distracted by Ford, Bunny gets involved again and Conti pushes her towards ringside.  Rollup of Conti and victory.
Winner: Tay Conti via pinfall.

After the match, Penelope Ford and The Bunny continue to attack Tay Conti until Anna Jay comes to save her friend after several months recovering from an injury.  Jay is confirmed to be a part of the Casino Battle Royale at AEW All Out.

Thunder Rosa is asked about her chances of winning the AEW All Out Casino Battle Royale, but she is immediately interrupted and attacked by Nyla Rose and Jade Cargill.  Both maintain a tense face-to-face and are separated by Vickie Guerrero and Mark Sterling so that the situation does not progress.

The Elite (Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson) vs.  Lucha Bros (Penta el Zero M and Rey Fenix) and Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus) (with Alex Abrahantes)

Don Callis joins the comment table.  Luchasaurus and Gallows exchange loud slaps to start the fight.  Gallows attempts a Suplex, but Luchasaurus reverts to a Vertical Suplex.  Bucks and Bros try to hit Superkicks, to no avail.  Penta’s Slingblade to Matt, Superkick and Frog Splash assisted.

Looking for a Hurricanrana to ringside, the Bucks catch Jungle Boy in midair and finish him off in a Powerbomb against the edge of the ring.  Gallows, Matt and Nick dominate over Jungle Boy in the middle phase until he eventually gets rid of Anderson with a Lariat at ringside and Gallows with a kick to the face. Fenix ​​receives the relief, neutralizes the Bucks and Cheecky Nandos Kick from Penta to Matt followed by a Diving Dropkick to the glutes.

AEW Dynamite Result

Nick with a combination of Armdrag and Hurricanrana on the Mexicans, exchange of Superkicks and all fell exhausted against the canvas.  Luchasaurus clears the ring with Anderson, German Suplex and Superkick to Gallows. Nick searches for a Springboard on Luchasaurus, but is caught in the air and thrown in a Chokeslam / Moonsault against everyone outside.  Suicide Corkscrew from Jungle Boy, Chokeslam and Standing Moonsault from Luchasaurus to Anderson for a count of two.

The Lucha Bros try the Fear Factor, but Brandon Cutler blinds Fenix ​​with the cold spray.  Magic Killer on Fenix ​​and Luchasaurus stops the count of three.  Fenix ​​escapes from the BTE Trigger, double Cutter to the Bucks and tries a Springboard Crossbody, but is surprised in the air by the brothers, who put an end to the Meltzer Driver.

After the match, Kenny Omega and Michael Nakazawa head to the ring while the Good Brothers knock out Luchasaurus with the Magic Killer on a table.  Christian Cage comes running to the ring and attacks Omega. But then vercome by the numerous The Elite, who attack everyone with kendo sticks. Omega asks Don Callis to lower the Steel Cage, so that no one can stop the beating that The Elite is causing to their rivals from All Out.

Despite attempts by Jungle Boy, Marko Stunt, Dante Martin or Frankie Kazarian to enter the ring. They take easily repelled from the inside with weapons.
