AEW Dynamite Result: Live AEW Result & Highlight, Winner & Grade – 25th August 2021

AEW Dynamite Result: The intro is followed by the fireworks stage and the obligatory welcome from Jim Ross. Tony Schiavone and Excalibur are co-commentators.

The following is a video review of CM Punk’s debut last Friday on AEW Rampage. The commentators hyped the match between CM Punk and Darby Allin, which takes place at AEW All Out, and present today’s matches and segments.

1st match
Orange Cassidy defeated Matt Hardy via the hands-in-pocket cradle – at the beginning of the match Cassidy took his gentle kicks and Matt answered each time with “DELETE” until he put his hands in his pocket and took out money, which Orange gave him with a dropkick out of his hands, during the match Matt got the money back, in the further course Matt bled from his nose (apparently he got a broken nose)

Backstage: Malakai Black agrees with Brock Anderson’s father, because he is overwhelmed. Black demands an apology from Brock when the bell rings. If he doesn’t get that apology, he’ll take out all his anger on Brock, Arn, Cody and anyone remotely connected to the Nightmare Family.

In-Ring: Chris Jericho and MJF Promo

Chris Jericho comes out disappointed because he lost to MJF for the third time, but what’s worse, he’s given up. He put himself through all this hardship because he had to – that’s his job. He had to defeat MJF because it went through his head like a mantra: “Defeat MJF, defeat MJF, defeat MJF.” But the matter is not over.

Jericho will keep contacting and attacking MJF until it’s over. Jericho asks MJF to come out so he can give him his suggestion. MJF doesn’t show up. Jericho wants to play another match against MJF at AEW All Out. The audience chants “ONE MORE MATCH”.

If he can’t beat MJF, he might not be part of AEW anymore. Should he not be able to defeat MJF, he no longer deserves to be “Le Champion”. The audience boos. Should MJF defeat him, he would be a full-time commentator instead of wrestling for AEW.

MJF enters the stage and finds this embarrassing. Jericho should just leave him alone. The only reason Jericho is so obsessed with MJF is because he needs a rub down from the fastest rising star in professional wrestling. But while it’s cool to say, “I knocked out Chris Jericho,” it’s legendary to say, “I knocked out Chris Jericho!”. Because of this, he accepts Jericho’s challenge. However, Jericho should be careful because he is better than him and he knows it.

Backstage: The Varsity Blonds (w / Julia Hart) talk about their opponents today. In her opinion, the bloodline does not define the family. Their goal is to become the No. 1 Tag Team because they want to defeat The Young Bucks in a Steel Cage Match at AEW All Out.

Before the next match: The Young Bucks go out with Brandon Cutler and The Good Brothers to watch the next match directly from the stage.

Video: Andrade El Idolo and Chavo Guerrero think PAC is great, but Andrade is better. They will compete against each other in All Out.

The commentators go through the current AEW All Out Matchcard.

In-Ring: CM Punk’s first appearance at AEW Dynamite

Tony Schiavone is in the ring and calls out the “Best in the World” CM Punk.

CM Punk walks into the ring with great reactions. Loud “CM PUNK” chants follow. Schiavone asks a question and punk says, “I can’t hear you Tony,” referring to the deafening chants. Punk talks about the young talents at AEW. However, there is one who stands above all: Darby Allin! Punk wonders if he can take on Allin.

When punk was 15, Allin would have been his favorite wrestler. He doesn’t fit the typical pattern – not being the greatest or the strongest, but he has heart. A “YES” chant follows and Punk explains that this is someone else’s way (obviously he means Daniel Bryan) and asks fans to be patient. Punk hyped his match against Allin on September 5th at AEW All Out, before looking into the camera and saying “I love you” to his wife. Punk shakes hands with several fans and hugs Tony Schiavone.

Backstage: Miro admits he was wrong about Fuego Del Sol, but doesn’t forgive Eddie Kingston. He’ll find Kingston because he’s the Redeemer. His wife will love him because he is the champion. “Bring me the Mad King before I burn this place down!”

In-Ring: “The Elite” Promo

Omega, Callis, Nakazawa, and Cutler enter the ring. Callis interrupts Schiavone and makes it clear that they will eliminate Christian Cage once and for all at All Out.

Christin Cage comes out and has a video recorded. In it we see how Callis hired Christian in the past for a wrestling match in Winnipeg and then fired him. Christian called Callis a “stupid piece of shit”. Omega says that nothing has changed in 27 years and Callis compares himself to promoters like Watts, McMahon and Gagne.

Christian is unimpressed, which makes Callis angry. Callis then makes it clear that Christian will find out at All Out what Callis has known for his entire career: Christian is the second best!

Christian has heard enough and wants to attack Callis, but Kenny Omega intervenes and Brandon Cutler uses the contents of the spray can against Christian. The heels all go against Christian until Frankie Kazarian storms into the ring with a steel pipe and makes the save. The heels withdraw immediately.

Backstage: Jon Moxley reveals that his opponent in AEW All Out will be NJPW wrestler Satoshi Kojima. Kojima is a legend, but Moxley is offended because Kojima thinks he can compete with him. When the bell rings, Moxley no longer has any respect for anyone. At All Out there will be a public execution of Satoshi Kojima.
