New confrontation between Sami Zyan and Kevin Owens
The SmackDown program will host a new confrontation between Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. The two Canadian fighters will meet again in what has already become very repetitive. The two fighters will face off in a Last Man Standing where the winner will get the pass for the Money in the Bank match. The announcement of the fight was a surprise, because at first Kevin Owens was going to take a break after losing in Hell in a Cell . Owens and Zayn have almost twenty matches within WWE.

Roman Reigns answers Edge
The last SmackDown show left Edge’s return after several months of absence. The Canadian fighter made his return by attacking Roman Reigns to position himself as the next universal title contender. WWE confirmed within hours that Edge and Roman will meet at Money in the Bank in a heads-up for the universal belt. There will be a segment tonight where Roman will answer Edge about last week’s attack.
Opportunity for Ladder Match
While Raw already has all the wrestlers confirmed for Money in the Bank, SmackDown only has three confirmed.

While Owens and Zayn will play a place, the blue brand will have other qualifying matches in order to get a place in the ladder match for WWE briefcases. In the women’s division, at the moment, there are only two positions filled, Liv Morgan’s and Carmella’s.
