MATCH CARD:

Johnny Gargano aspires to the NXT belt

Tonight the maximum NXT championship will be at stake in a heads-up between Karrion Kross and Johnny Gargano. The match will feature Samoa Joe as the special referee. The fight comes after the two fighters have exchanged attacks and words in the NXT segments.

Karrion Kross won the belt on the second night of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver and is now almost a hundred days champion. Kross has only put the belt on the line twice and the last time he did it against the four main faces of the gold and black brand. Kross has been appearing in the main roster matches, so he may lose the belt if he moves up in the near future.

The NXT Breakout Tournament 2021 begins

Tonight the NXT Breakout Tournament 2021 will begin with the first match of the tournament. Jiro and Duke Hudson will face off in a heads-up game that will kick off the 2021 tournament. Duke Hudson has already made his NXT debut, while Jiro has only fought a few 205 Live matches.

Gigi Dolin threatens Sarray

Last week Toni Storm refused to face Sarray, however the Asian fighter found a new rival. Gigi Dolin, a fighter who has only had a couple of matches in NXT appeared backstage to position herself as her next rival. Dolin stated that it would be a pleasure to be in the ring with Sarray who accepted the fight.
