The game used to known as “PUBG Mobile India” by the Indian government before its complete ban. However, PUBG’s developer, Krafton, is renaming the game to ‘Battleground Mobile India’, according to the company’s official website.
On the page, it reads, “South Korean video game developer, Crafton, today announced BATTLEGROUNDS Mobile India. Developed by Crofton, the game will provide a world-class AAA multiplayer gaming experience on mobile.
The BATTLEGROUNDS Mobile India will release with exclusive in-game events such as outfits and features and will have its own eSports ecosystem with tournaments and leagues. The game will debut as a free-to-play experience on mobile devices. “
According to the look of the posters on the website, the upcoming game appears to be similar to PUBG Mobile India. “Battlegourds Mobile India, a battle royal experience, will have a pre-registration period before launch. The game will only be available to play in India.
Krafton said on the game’s official website, KRAFTON will collaborate with partners to bring in-game content regularly to in-game content.
It is important to note that Krafton is also using similar audio tracks, allowing gamers to dive into nostalgia with Battleground Mobile India’s teasers. The official trailer of the game has not yet been released.
