League Goals in 2022-23: Europe’s top 5 leagues continue to draw in fans in huge abundance and hold their place in club football.

Serie A

The Serie A has seen the 20 teams score a total of 544 goals this season with a goals per game of 1.3 so far.

It’s star-striker in Victor Osimhen currently holds the top scorer spot with 16 goals to his name.
The latter has ensured that the former are staying put at the summit and hoping to realize their dream of a first Scudetto since the 1989-90 season.
Bundesliga
The German league has seen it’s fair share of goal-scorers over generations and they continue to be a goal-fest league this year as well.
Bundesliga teams have scored a total of 557 goals in the season with a 1.63 goals per game average.
Bayern Munich remain the summit holders in terms of goals scored in the season (56).
Werder Bremen’s Niclas Füllkrug is the leading top scorer of the season (13).
This season the league has thrown some surprises due to which is tightly poised at the top with the gap being 4-points between the top 4 sides.
Premier League

572 goals were scored in the EPL 2022-23 season so far with the defending champions, Man City striking the back of the net most times (53).
A major contribution to City’s goalmouth run has been striker Haaland’s success at the club.
He is breaking records for fun on a daily basis scoring 25 goals in 20 matches so far. Despite this, Arsenal are the table toppers currently with an eight-point lead.

Ligue 1

The Ligue 1 tops the list with 631 goals being scored so far in the 2022-23 season with an average of 1.63 Goals per game.
Defending champions, PSG top the table with 54 points having struck 54 goals as well in the competition.
Reims’ Folarin Balogun is the leading top scorer in the Ligue 1 so far (14) with Mbappe in 2nd place with 13.
The French league has been the most dominant league in terms of goal-mouth action especially for the PSG with the likes of Messi-Neymar-Mbappe in prime form.
