Burnley begin their Premier League campaign on Saturday as they face Brighton at home with a chance to begin their season on a positive note.

The Clarets won five of their six pre-season matches losing the last one against Spanish side, Cadiz.

They beat Morecambe, Salford City, Oldham Athletic, Blackpool and Tranmere along the way and in convincing fashion.

This gives Sean Dyche hope of a good start to the season as they look to avoid finishing poorly once again.

His side finished 17^th in the Premier League last season.

Meanwhile, Burnley did not have the best pre-season having drawn, lost and won one match each.
