Cricket: Captains who led their teams to inaugural ICC Events Final, Check Name.

Captains who led their team in all inaugural ICC events are as follows:

WI VS AUS 1st World Cup Finals (1975) :

First World Cup took place in England as one-day matches of 60 overs per inning. West Indies beat Australia by 17 runs in a historic first-ever cricket world cup under the captaincy of Clive Lloyd. Where Ian Chappell led Kangaroos on the losing side.

SA VS WI 1st ChampionsTrophy Final (2000) :

ICC Champions Trophy earlier known as ICC Knockout Trophy which was started in 1998. The second important ICC event after WC. The inaugural season of CT was held in Bangladesh. The Final of the 1st CT was played between South Africa and West Indies, in which South Africa beat Windies by four wickets under the captaincy of Hansie Cronje. This is the only Title for South Africa in the ICC event till now. On the other hand, the West Indies were led by Brian Lara.

IND VS PAK 1st T20 WC Final (2007) :

The inaugural T20 WC took place in South Africa and won by India in 2007. This was the start of MS Dhoni’s captaincy career. Where he gave an immense result with the young team India by winning the Trophy. India beat Shoaib Malik’s Pakistan in the Final by 5 runs.

IND VS NZ 1st WTC Final (2021) :
