Cristiano Ronaldo rules out of match against Atalanta due to thigh injury

Cristiano Ronaldo rules out of Juventus’ match against Alatanta on Sunday due to a thigh injury.
In a major setback for Juventus, their talismanic striker is out of tomorrow’s crucial top 4 clash match.
Juventus and Atalanta are on third and fourth place respectively with only a point’s difference between the two sides.
The Portuguese captain and leader has been Juventus’ main man this season being the top scorer for them in the Serie A with 25 goals.
Pirlo has announced that Paulo Dybala will start proceedings tomorrow. Ronaldo may return for Wednesday’s home game against Parma.
He said, “Cristiano Ronaldo will not be available tomorrow. Over these past few days he has not been able to recover from the flexor problem sustained after last Sunday’s match against Genoa. He hasn’t been able to push himself this week as he saw fit and would have risked too much. We have decided to leave him in Turin to rest and we will try to have him back for Wednesday’s match vs. Parma.”
He further added, “Paulo Dybala will play from the start. Leonarod Bonucci has returned after having Covid and is working to return to top form. Arthur and Weston McKennie are doing well, they’ve trained regularly and will be available for tomorrow’s game.
A win for Juventus sees them get to the second spot with 65 points. Nine points behind Inter, who play Napoli on Sunday night.
