Luka Modric continues as captain of the team in what is his fourth FIFA World Cup.  The Real Madrid mid-fielder has been a part of every FIFA World Cup Croatia has qualified for being 2006, 2014 and 2018.

Croatia’s 26-man squad are as follows:

Goalkeepers: Dominik Livakovic, Ivica Irusic and Ivo Grbic

Defenders: Domagoj Vida, Dejan Lovren, Borna Barisic, Josip Juranovic, Josko Gvardiol, Borna Sosa, Josip Stanisic, Martin Erlic and Josip Sutalo

Midfielders: Luka Modric (C), Mateo Kovacic, Marcelo Brozovic, Mario Pasalic, Nikola Vlasic, Lovro Majer, Kristian Jakic and Luka Sucic

Forwards: Ivan Perisic, Andrej Kramaric, Bruno Petkovic, Mislav Orsic, Ante Budimir and Marko Livaja

Luka Modric hopes to have the swansong he deserves after having inspired the nation for many years.

Croatia is pitted against the likes of Belgium, Canada and Morocco in Group F.

23rd November: Morocco vs Croatia (03:30 PM IST), Al Bayt Stadium

27th November: Croatia vs Canada (09:30 PM IST), Khalifa International Stadium

1st December: Croatia vs Belgium (08:30 PM IST), Ahmed bin Ali Stadium

Croatia is on a roll heading into the World Cup as they are on the back of 4 successive wins in the UEFA Nations League.

There is experience in abundance for the Croatia team in this edition of the World Cup. It will be another experience for the Blazers who managed runners-up finish in Russia.
