David Luiz Arsenal: David Luiz is set to leave Arsenal at the end of the current season once his contract expires and has informed the club.
The 34-year-old Brazilian defender will leave the Gunners at the end of the 2020-21 season.
Currently, Luiz has been out of action after he sustained a hamstring injury against Newcastle in the 2-0 victory on May 2.
Luiz has made 20 appearances for Arsenal in the league this season and scored 1 goal in the process.
ImageThe center-back has also played in another 10 matches across other competitions and scoring a sole goal in the UEFA Europa League.
David has been consistently injured this season and has missed 9 matches.
He is set to miss another 3 due to the injury which results in an early season finish for the Brazilian.
Arsenal are 9th on the table and are set to end their poor campaign without European football.
ImageLuiz made the switch from Stamford Bridge to Emirates in August 2019 and helped the Gunners win their record 14th FA Cup title.

The Brazilian played in the 3-3 draw against West Ham on 21st March and missed out a month of action.
He returned for the 1st leg of the UEL semi-finals against Villarreal which the Gunners lost 2-1.
Due to injuries and poor form, it is reported that Luiz is willing to leave Arsenal at the end of the season.

He has represented Arsenal 73 times till date and scored 4, assisted 1 goal in his career.
There could be many clubs willing to buy the defender as he adds variety, depth and experience to any team.
Whether Luiz stays in England or finds another destination awaiting outside Premier League is a question only he can answer.
