DC vs SRH 5 records: We will get a first-look at the last two teams in this second leg of IPL tonight, as Delhi Capitals take on Sunrisers Hyderabad. Here are the 5 stats and records that can be broken in tonight’s game.

We have so far had a look at 6 teams in 3 days of this second leg of IPL 2021, and it’s now down to the final 2 teams – the side at No. 2 Delhi Capitals and wooden-spooners Sunrisers Hyderabad.

As these two teams take the field tonight, we look at the 5 stats and records that can be broken:

DC vs SRH Stats & Records

59 – Ajinkya Rahane 59 runs away from 4,000 IPL runs

The Test match vice-captain for India currently has 3,941 IPL runs to his name. He needs only 59 runs to become the 11th batsman to get past the 4,000-run mark in IPL. Will he able to do it tonight?

53 – David Warner needs 53 runs to get to 5,500 IPL runs

The pint-sized southpaw from Australia was in lackluster form in the first leg of IPL. This was the reason why he had to step down from SRH captaincy. However, he needs 53 more runs to become only the third batsman to get to 5,500 IPL runs.

The other two batsmen who have already achieved this feat are Virat Kohli (6,081) and Shikhar Dhawan (5,577).

1 – Warner needs 1 boundary to go past Kohli

Warner also needs just one four to go past Virat Kohli and become the 2nd-highest four-scorer in IPL history. He is currently level with the RCB skipper at 525 fours.

DC opener Shikhar Dhawan leads the list with 634 fours.

5 – Amit Mishra needs 5 wickets to surpass Malinga

DC veteran leg-spinner Amit Mishra is on the cusp of history. He (166) needs just 5 more wickets to surpass Lasith Malinga (170) and become the highest wicket-taker of all-time in IPL history!

Will he able to do it tonight?

12 – Bhuvneshwar needs 12 more dot balls to go past Ashwin

SRH pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar (1,204) needs to bowl only 12 more dot balls to go past DC spinner R Ashwin (1,215) and become second in the list of most dot balls bowled in IPL history.

However, we will also see Ashwin bowling tonight, so Bhuvi would have to end up bowling a few more than just 12 to go past him.

KKR spinner Harbhajan Singh tops the list at 1,268 dot balls!

So these are the 5 stats and records that can be broken tonight!
