MATCH PREVIEW:
Derby County are up against Manchester United in their first pre-season match on Sunday.
Once again Rooney will lead his side out against his old club but with a new energy and vigour after he managed to help Derby stay up in the league last season.
Derby secured a 21st place finish, just avoiding relegation.
On the other hand, Manchester United finished runners-up to Man City in the Premier League but could not finish their season with a trophy as they failed in the UEL Final against Villarreal on penalties 11-10.
Ole was once again in the firing line for his tactics in the final and inability to win trophies. But the ex-Manchester United striker knows his side’s capabilities.
The Red Devils continue to use the transfer window well and have signed Jadon Sancho from Dortmund and emerging reports suggest Varane too is on his way.
Manchester United should use this fixture as good pre-preparation and we expect many youngsters to get a go.

Both sides last faced each other in the FA Cup 2020 where United won 3-0.
Goals from Ighalo (2) and Shaw won the Red Devils this contest.

Predicted Line-up
Derby County:
Allsop, Byrne, Jagielka, Stearman, Shinnie, Bird, Sibley, Knight, Lawrence, Kazim-Richards and Aluko.
Manchester United:
Heaton, Wan-Bissaka, Mengi, Tuanzebe, Telles, Garner, Matic, Elanga, Mata, Shoretire and Greenwood.
Prediction: Derby 0-3 Manchester United
Manchester United may not play their strongest 11 due to the returning players from the Euro 2020 and break.
Even so, we expect them to pick up a comfortable win against a lackluster Derby side.
