Dinesh Karthik will say goodbye to Commentary box after third test, will join IPL in UAE

IPL 2021: Former India wicketkeeper, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) star Dinesh Karthik will leave commentary in England. After the ongoing third Test and join his franchise ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, to be held in the United Arab Emirates from September 19.

Confirming that Karthik will leave the commentary panel after the third Test, the IPL starts in two weeks’ time. I can prepare and do as much as I can.

He further said, I will not be here for the remaining two Tests. You guys have been nice to me. The 36-year-old has scored 123 runs in seven matches in the first leg of the tournament.

Their franchise KKR have also brought in New Zealand pacer Tim Southee in place of Australian pacer Pat Cummins, who will miss the second leg.
