Preview
Egypt head into this after a penalty shootout loss to Senegal in the CAF World Cup Final qualifiers, which saw Egypt missing out on a chance to reach the FIFA World Cup.
The tie finished 1-1 at the end of 90 minutes, but misses from Salah, Zizo and Mohamed ensured a win for Senegal on penalties.
The Pharaohs have not played since March 2022 and will be hopeful to get back into form after losing out to Senegal in the AFCON Finals last year.
On the other hand, Guinea drew 0-0 against South Africa in a friendly clash played in March earlier this year. This after a Round of 16 defeat in the AFCON 2022 against Gambia.
Hence, both the African sides are looking to kick start their new season in style.
Both sides last met in a friendly in 2019 where the Pharaohs won 3-1.

Prediction: Egypt 2-0 Guinea
Egypt is too strong and quality a side for Guinea and we see the hosts gaining a comfortable win.
Guinea has some fine players in their ranks but aren’t favourites due to the lack of experience in their squad.
