ENG vs IND 4th Test: Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara will not be able to field for fielding on the fifth and last day of the fourth Test against England at The Oval.

Rohit has a slight problem in his left knee, while Pujara has complained of pain in his left ankle. BCCI gave an update about Rohit and Pujara through a tweet. Both are under the supervision of the BCCI medical team.

After the end of the fourth day’s play, both the players were taken for a scan.

Rohit and Pujara batted brilliantly in the second innings, thanks to which the Indian team scored 466 runs. Rohit scored his first century on foreign soil and played a brilliant innings of 127 runs. Hitman has scored the most runs in this series after England captain Joe Root.

At the same time, Pujara scored 61 runs in the second innings and shared a 153-run partnership with Rohit for the second wicket.

An Interesting Fifth Day 

On the fourth day on Sunday, scoring 466 runs in the second innings, gave England a target of 368 runs to win. At the end of the day’s play, England scored 77 runs in the second innings without losing a wicket and they still need 291 runs to win.

Till the stumps, Rory Burns is present on the crease after scoring 31 runs in 108 balls with the help of two fours and Haseeb Hameed 42 runs in 85 balls with the help of six fours.
