ENG vs IND: Team India came on the field with a black armband on the side in the fourth test, paid tribute to this legend. The Indian team took to the field wearing a black band in honor of renowned cricket coach Vasudev Paranjape on the first day of the fourth Test against England at The Oval here.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted a picture of the Indian team wearing a black band during the national anthem and tweeted:

This behavior of the Indian team was appreciated by his son Jatin Paranjpe. “The Paranjpe family is deeply moved by this sentiment,” he tweeted.

Paranjpe represented Mumbai and Baroda and played 29 first-class matches, scoring 785 runs. But later he became famous as a coach.
