Leeds United beat Spurs: Leeds United beat Spurs 3-1 at home in the Premier League on Saturday to dash their chances of a top 4 finish.

Leeds was the better side on the day with their consistent attacking play and quick movement. Spurs have yet again floundered making it difficult to catch up with the top 4.
Bielsa’s men started off brightly as Lloris was called into action to make a save off Bamford.
The bright start reaped rewards Stuart Dallas scored to send the home side 1-0 ahead.
ImageReguilon deflected Harrison’s cross towards his own goal which was saved by Lloris. However, Dallas was present for the follow-up and smashed home from close range to send Leeds ahead.
Spurs retaliated as Son equalizer soon after when he latched onto Alli’s pass and finished emphatically past Meslier.

Harrison came close to giving Leeds the lead but his shot was smartly parried away by Lloris with another fine save.

Leeds on the other hand played some mesmerizing football and kept Lloris busy as well. The Frenchman once made a great save to deny Klich’s shot on target.
Kane came close to equalizing for the visitors but his free-kick cannoned off the cross bar.
After chances from both ends, Leeds finally sealed the game with a strike from Rodrigo to make it 3-1.

Dallas could have made it 4-1 but Lloris once again make a crucial save right at the death.
It finished 3-1 to Leeds as Spurs chances of a top 4 finished were dashed after yet another poor performance.
An all-round performance Leeds gave them a much- deserved win after last week’s defeat.
Tottenham stay in 6th and five points away from the top 4 while Leeds moves to 9th in the table.
